I hadn't thought about the old days of BBS'ing in like 10 yrs.
I was bela on Fantasia... doesn't seem like you guys are from there... or you were a diff time.. I started off with my 300 baud modem in about 1988 and left somewhere near 1991. Those days of geek-dom got me employed in the IT industry today ("sure, I know what a hayes command is!", and man I can type fast too!
What a trip there's a LJ community!
